I’m from Montreal Canada, the founder, writer and photographer for Afternoon Tea Reads.

I’ve been travelling and sipping tea for just about 20 years.

When I’m not traveling to a new destination, you can find me at my home in Montreal Canada with a good book, my cat on my lap, and a mug of tea in my hands!

What started as a passion project to provide honest travel guides and and share the incredible world of tea has since turned into my full time job.

So if you love travel, tea, or a bit of both, this is the website for you!

This blog wouldn’t be where it is today without Joshua. With a PhD in Computer Science, Joshua does most of the behind the scenes work on the website. Making it fast for you to navigate, and debugging any issues that arise.

Joshua also works behind the scenes on every trip. From researching the best hotels and restaurants to driving in every new destination.

Professional Cat Traveller

Percy cat is the newest member of the Afternoon Tea Reads team. He shows that cats can travel too!

Although he loves being home, he’s pushed his travel limits in the last few years. What started as short hour long road trips have turned into three day long drives to see even further destinations.
