Visiting the South of France in the fall has some benefits but also some drawbacks. It sees fewer tourists and cooler weather but those aren’t necessarily positives.

The day trip possibilities are endless from Aix-en-Provence. Centrally located in the South of France, there are over 25 places you can visit from Aix. I swear, there’s a trip that everyone can enjoy, it’s all about finding which one is right for you.
In a one day road trip from Aix, you can explore some of the most beautiful Provence towns in the area. This road trip includes a stop in Avignon, L’Isle-Sur-la-Sorgue, Gordes, and Rousillon.
