Dallas Texas is a top city to see on any trip to Texas. It’s filled with a bustling downtown, historical centre, local shopping, and mouth watering eats! But if you only have a limited time in the city, like just one day, these are the best things to do in Dallas Texas.
North America
Waco is the halfway point between both cities so it’s the perfect place to split up the drive. Plus, there’s quite a bit to do while you’re there.
San Antonio is about an hour and a half drive from Austin. There are a few stops along the way to break up the drive. And even more history and Mexican culture to discover once you’ve made it to San Antonio.
The rodeo is actually the official sport of Texas, so it’s a must do when visiting the state to say the least, especially if you’re in Fort Worth (or even Dallas!). But, if you’ve never been to a rodeo before, like me, then you’re in for a nice surprise!
Although it’s very touristy now, it wasn’t always like that. The Stockyards played a huge roll in Texas history and it’s worth discovering.
