Honestly, I never thought that there was anything worthwhile to stop at on the Montreal to Toronto drive. Well, the last time I made the drive back home to Montreal I decided to take my time. As it turns out, there are tons of places to stop on the way to Montreal from Toronto (or vice versa!).
There are three main islands that you can visit: Wards, Hanlan’s Point, and Centre Island. The islands offer a city escape with an unbeatable skyline view and relaxing beaches. Oh, and did I mention there’s also a hidden amusement park on Centre Island!?
