15 Hotels In Mont Tremblant For The Perfect Weekend Getaway
Mont Tremblant Village is a ski resort in the Laurentians, Québec. Although it’s a ski resort, it’s still a very popular destination to visit all year round. The resort village is made up of hotels, restaurants, and shops. So although there are quite a few hotels to choose from, it can be overwhelming to know which is the right one for your stay.
I’ve stayed at a few of the hotels in Mont Tremblant over the years, both in the village and just outside. So here are my top places to stay in Mont Tremblant and a few tips before booking any hotels!
Psst! This blog post contains affiliate links in it which sends me a bit of extra money if you use them… at no extra cost to you!
Tips For Booking Hotels In Mont Tremblant
You have to decide what’s important to you when booking hotels in Mont Tremblant Village. For example, are you set on staying in the village itself, or are willing to stay just outside to save some money?
Also, depending on the season, you might be most interested in a hotel with killer outdoor pool in the summer or you’re set on a ski in / ski out service in the winter.
On top of those considerations, I usually like booking Mont Tremblant lodging with either breakfast included or with a kitchen in the room. There’s really only one good breakfast restaurant in the village (The Crêpe Maison)… so there’s usually a long wait!

Should You Book A Hotel In Mont Tremblant Village
When researching Mont Tremblant hotels, it’s important to search for Mont Tremblant Village. Mont Tremblant is actually an entire town in Québec with Old Tremblant and a Quebec National Park.
But, it’s the ski village that you’re most likely interested in staying in. Mont Tremblant Village is a pedestrian only resort town at the base of Mont Tremblant hill. So, before booking any hotel in Tremblant, it’s important to double check where it is first. See all Mont Tremblant hotels on Booking.com.

Seasonal Considerations When Booking Hotels In Mont Tremblant
Mont Tremblant Village is a very seasonal place. It’s purely a resort town, so no one actually lives here full time. Because of that, a few things will change based on the season that you’re visiting Mont Tremblant Village…

Prioritizing Different Amenities
What you’re looking for in Mont Tremblant lodging changes based on the season you’re visiting.
If you’re visiting in the winter for skiing, you might be interested in a hotel that offers ski in/ ski out possibilities. This essentially means that you can leave directly from the hotel (with your skis on!) and hit the slopes ASAP. Then you can ski ski right back into the hotel at the end of the day.
But if you’re visiting in the summertime, the ski in/ ski out amenity is obviously not important. So in the summer, the outdoor swimming pool or even a private balcony might be what you’re most interested in. P.S. There are TONS of music festivals in the main square in Tremblant in the summer, if you want to avoid crowds and have a private viewing, book a hotel with a balcony overlooking the main square, like the Saint-Bernard, or the Homewood Suites.

Keep In Mind The Price Varies Drastically…
Be aware that the price of the hotels vary A LOT based on the season that you’re booking.
Winter will be the most expensive season to stay in Tremblant because the ski hill is the main attraction. If you aren’t planning on skiing, then it probably isn’t worth visiting in the winter. You’re paying the premium for no real gain.
Summer will also be an expensive time to visit, but will most likely still cheaper than winter prices. The village hosts quite a few outdoor festivals during the summer which is nice for entertainment but can make hotels pricier for those dates. Read more about visiting Mont Tremblant in the summer.
Off season in Tremblant is during spring and fall, so if you’re interested in saving some money, these will be the prime time to book hotels in Mont Tremblant. And you will still be able to take part in some outdoor activities like hiking and biking during these seasons.

A Note On Pet Friendly Hotels In Mont Tremblant…
If you’re looking to bring your furry friend on vacation, there are only two pet friendly hotels in Mont Tremblant. And keep in mind, you won’t be able to leave your pet alone in the room. If you’re planning on leaving for the entire day skiing, it might be best to find other options for your pet back home. You can also leave them in a day kennel, like La Brégeoise.
In the summer, you might think this is less of an issue because you can take them with you if you’re planning on hiking, but I actually ran into a few issues when I brought my cat to Tremblant in the summer… Most restaurants have a no animal policy even on their outdoor terrace. My cat was in a closed backpack and I still weren’t allowed to bring him. So this mean a lot of ordering take out instead.
I also ran into an issue with some summertime Tremblant activities. I didn’t realize the Tonga Lumina had a chairlift ride at the start. So even though it was a night time hike, I couldn’t bring my cat on the chairlift to even start the activity.

Top 9 Mont Tremblant Hotels In The Village
These are the top 10 Mont Tremblant hotels in the village. These Mont Tremblant hotels are actually in the village, so they will be the most expensive options.

2. Mont Tremblant Fairmont
The Fairmont Tremblant is at the top of the mountain just off the ski hill, you can’t get a better location than this!
In the winter, they offer a ski in/ski out service, an indoor pool and hot tub! In the summer, enjoy the unbeatable outdoor pool and hot tubs with a poolside bar.
They don’t offer a free breakfast but there are two restaurants in the hotel so you don’t have to go far for breakfast. Go to Le Ricochet for a quick bite, or enjoy a delicious sit down breakfast at Le Comptoir.

Plus, a free breakfast is included with your stay AND every room has a full kitchen.
5. Place Saint Bernard
Similar to the Homewood Suites, Place Saint Bernard is very much in the Village itself.
The hotel rooms are along the main street (Chemin Kandahar) on top of shops and restaurants.
If you book a room with a balcony, it’s the perfect place to sit out with a drink and people watch in the summer! Keep in mind though, there isn’t a pool at this Mont Tremblant lodging.
6. Le Westin Mont Tremblant Hotels
If you still want to be in the heart of the village, but not literally on top of the action, Le Westin might be the perfect Mont Tremblant lodging for you.
It’s one street off of the main street in Tremblant, giving you space to relax and breathe but still in a VERY convenient location!
My favourite part about Le Westin rooms are the fireplaces to cozy up in the winter!
7. The Holiday Inn Express
You can’t go wrong booking The Holiday Inn Express & Suites. It’s about halfway up the village, making it a great middle ground between the bottom and top for (hopefully) less uphill walking.

Plus a free breakfast is included with your stay!
8. Residence Inn By Marriott
Another main hotel in Mont Tremblant is the Marriott Residence Inn.
I will warn you though, the cabriolet (the free Village chairlift) passes directly above the outdoor swimming pool…
But, this is one of the only hotels that offers bike rentals to their guests (and there are some great biking trails in the area!).
They offer ski to door access in the winter and a free daily breakfast all year!
9. Ermitage du Lac
At the base of the mountain is Ermitage du Lac. Even though it’s at the bottom of the hill, you’re still very much in the village.
You can choose from an array of different sized apartments to fit your needs.
This Tremblant hotel offers ski to door access in the winter, an outdoor pool in the summer, plus a free continental breakfast all year round!

Hotels In Mont Tremblant Just Outside The Village
Mont Tremblant Village is quite small so there are limited options to stay in the village itself and they tend to be the most expensive options. If you’re willing to stay just outside Mont Tremblant Village, there are even more hotel options.
Hotels outside the village will either be a larger space or be a tad cheaper than staying at Mont Tremblant hotels in the village. But! You are still so close to the pedestrian village, you can walk, take the free Tremblant shuttle, or sometimes the hotel will offer their own shuttle service. So you don’t have to worry about driving and parking in the village.
And most of these hotels will also have free parking options (unlike hotels in Mont Tremblant village itself).
10. Manoir Condos – Mont Tremblant Lodging
The Manoir Condos are the most convenient place to stay outside the village. I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a breath of fresh air… literally!
The Manoir Condos offer a beautiful chalet country escape for the whole family. You have your own private apartment with a full kitchen and separate rooms.
You can easily walk or take the free Tremblant shuttle to the village. Because it’s so easy to get to the Village you never feel like you’re missing out on the action or have to pack an entire day bag when you leave either.
Plus, it’s nice to leave it the village behind at the end of the night for a break.
11. Equinoxe Rendez-Vous Mont Tremblant
Equinoxe Rendez-Vous is a hotel on Mont Tremblant… like it’s actually ON the mountain! They offer a free shuttle service to the village, so it’s never too far away either!
If you’re interested in ski in/ ski out it doesn’t get better than being on the mountain itself! If you’re visiting in the summer, there’s also a heated pool you can enjoy!
And no matter the season, you can always get a great view of the village below!
12. Les Chalets Sauvignon
Les Chalets Sauvignon is more of a drive to the village, but they do offer their own shuttle service.
There are three types of chalets (cabins) to choose from at Les Chalet Sauvignon depending on your needs.
The Two-Bedroom Chalets are the most popular and quite new from 2018 though.
But, every chalet has a mountain view and a private hot tub and terrace … it doesn’t get better than that!
13. Château Beauvallon
Château Beauvallon is about a 5 minute drive to Mont Tremblant Village but they also offer a shuttle service.
This is a true up north resort. They offer both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs, and a relaxing outdoor garden terrace. Plus, you’re just minutes from the golf course.
There’s even an onsite scotch bar to enjoy at night.

14. In Between The Village & Old Tremblant: Le Pimbina Spa & Massage

If you’re looking for a unique experience in Tremblant, stay at a Bel Air pod in the woods. This is luxury glamping!

My Hotel Amazon Must-Haves
There are a few must-haves that I always pack with me on any trip – wherever I’m going and staying! The first thing is that I have a wall charger with multiple USB (or USB-C) ports. Let’s be real, we always have multiple devices we need to charge so it’s convenient to keep them all in one place and be able to charge everything at once.
I also always pack a portable white noise machine. Even though I don’t use one at home, I always bring one when I stay at a hotel. There’s always some noises that keep me up, or wake me up in the middle of the night. Whether it’s the elevator, guests walking in the hallway, or just strange noises in the room. I have the Hatch to drown out any external noises.
I always pack some removable wall hooks as well. There are just never enough places to hang your belongings, like jackets, bags, or even your towels and wet bathing suits. These always come in handy one way or another! P.S. I also like using a hanging toiletry bag to save space in hotel bathrooms, and since I’m traveling with hooks, there’s always a place to hang it!
