Leuven is the perfect mini escape from the big city hustle of Brussels. Despite its small size, there’s a bit of something for everyone to enjoy: history, beer, shopping, and more!

Luxembourg City (in Luxembourg) is one of the only cities with the same name as their country. But the surprises (and fun facts) about this beautiful city don’t stop there. There’s loads of history and out of this world views during a day trip from Brussels to Luxembourg.
Namur is an excellent day trip option from Brussels. It’s only about an hour away, has an accessible train station, and it’s loaded with a rich history. Despite its small size, Namur is actually the capital of Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium.
We visited Budapest in one day from Vienna, so don’t worry if you only have one day to explore the city. Budapest has a lot to offer, from unlimited history, breathtaking views, and thermal baths to relax in!
During my trip to Belgium, I ate and learned so much about local food. The waffles, mussels, chocolate, beer…etc. The list was endless! To my surprise, in that list, Belgium also claims (French?) fries as their own.
This sparked my interest, and as it turns out, there’s a huge debate with the French on who invented them. So I thought, what else has an unexpected food origin, and have even sparked a food war of their own.
Salzburg is a perfect day trip from Vienna; it has a walkable city centre and is accessible by train. Despite it being such a small town, it’s actually famous for quite a bit.
Salzburg is where they filmed The Sound of Music and was even home to the original von Trapp family. It’s also the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (you know the very famous classical composer).
When I’m going on vacation, wether it’s for a few days, a week, or two, I always choose to travel in a carry-on suitcase. I have a few main reasons for why I do that, but it always boils down to it being less stressful. The how I pack is a bit more complicated, especially when going for longer, but it’s definitely still doable with the proper tools and tricks!
Long Beach might not be first on your California bucket list, but it’s still worth a visit. At first glance, there might not seem like there’s much to do, but I’m here to prove you wrong! Here’s my guide for how to make the most of your time if you find yourself in Long Beach, California.
If you’re heading to Las Vegas from SoCal, make it a road trip and take the scenic route through the Mojave Desert.
I was coming from Long Beach California, so the drive is about 4 and a half hours (without any stops). But to break up the drive, here are a few stops I found along the way that I’d recommend stopping at.
San Diego is about a 2.5 hour drive from Los Angeles along the California coast. The city is known for its perfect weather, world-renowned zoo, and outdoor activities. With so much to see and do, it’s hard to narrow it down if you only have one day in San Diego.
My San Diego day trip itinerary will give you a mix of coastal and city life. From discovering hidden gems in La Jolla and Coronado to the bustling action of the Gaslamp Quarter and lively seaport. It’s all about relaxing, seeing the sights, and enjoying everything the city has to offer.
