Waco is the halfway point between both cities so it’s the perfect place to split up the drive. Plus, there’s quite a bit to do while you’re there.
San Antonio is about an hour and a half drive from Austin. There are a few stops along the way to break up the drive. And even more history and Mexican culture to discover once you’ve made it to San Antonio.
